Anyone getting married in 2023?

Congrats! It may be a little too early to start booking. But with so many couples postponing because of Covid, you may need a little head start. I’d start booking vendors 2 years to 18 months out. Or check with the vendors you are interested in and see how far they allow you to book out.

Congratulations! It’s never too early to start doing research and even starting to tour some venues you are interested in. However, you might find that some aren’t booking as far ahead as 2023 just yet. Also, you never know but your tastes or financial position might change, so booking too early might lock you into something you later regret.

Congratulations!! I remember that first 2 months of being engaged- it is the coolest feeling ❤️ I don’t see any harm in starting to look for venues! Just FYI- with so many weddings being rescheduled, vendors are taking longer to return calls, so don’t get discouraged if they don’t reach back immediately to schedule a tour. Congratulations! Yes, I think it may be too early to actually book things. Especially with COVID, several businesses have and will continue to go out of business bc of the mandates.

Yes!! We got engaged in July and are getting married on February 18th, 2023!! We’ve been together since middle school so needless to say I was planning this wedding before we even got engaged LOL so I emailed venues that very night. I will say booking early was the best thing we did because we were able to lock in 2020 rates, which in our area go up about $20 per person every year (which is insane). I’m so glad we booked early because it’s given us a ton of time to really plan out what we want and SAVE!! Best of luck to you!

I don't think it's too early to plan and book! We got engaged July 2020 and by Nov. we had our venue, photographer, florist, and videographer booked. We did this because I knew before hand that many venues and vendors raise their prices annually, so we wanted to get the best price we could! (and I'm glad we did that, because all of our vendors jacked their prices up for 2021!!). Planning early gives you a head start, and time to really dig deep into wedding planning and time to SAVE THAT MONEY!

Congratulations! We got engaged November 2020 and we already booked most of our vendors and we’re getting married 2/5/2023 so I would say it’s never to early. The earlier you book the more time you have to save/pay everything off before the big day. Way less stressful in my opinion!

I got engaged 11/28/2020 and have already toured venues and pretty set on one of them. We haven't booked anything yet, and will probably wait a little while, but they told us the pricing for 2023 is only going up $1/person, so we're aware of the 2023 changes that we would be paying for.

I just put a deposit down for my venue in October 2023. I suggest booking ASAP. Some venues book two years out, and a lot of people are postponing because of covid-19, giving you even more competition. Plus, it gives you plenty of time to save with a clear budget goal.

Nope! I got engaged 2/4/2020. Starred venue looking and am doing my deposit/signing of the contract this Saturday. My wedding it 6/3/2023. Not to early to have a venue in date. Might be early for everything else!!!

We got engaged October 2020 and plan on getting married October 2023. I started doing some research so I can mentally prepare on how much it’s all going to cost lol. I plan to start booking things later this year. I’m so glad I’m not the only one with a long engagement! Everyone I’ve talked to gets shocked when I tell them we won’t get married til 2023.

We’ve been engaged since 1/1/2019. Our wedding date is 1/21/23. Hopefully tomorrow we will be booking our venue. All I do is look and plan. We have limited disposable income with 4 kids (yeah we did everything out of order) so I have started buying things on sale/clearance and second hand.

I’m another 2023 bride! We already have the reception venue booked for February 2023. We also have our photographer booked. I’m starting to research dj’s now because I want to get that booked before the end of this year. I want to get a lot done now so there’s no risk of people I really like being booked up when I need them.

Same girl same!! I don’t think it’s too early at all. It gives me an idea of what my budget will be and plan ahead etc.

Congrats! I got engaged like 2 weeks ago and I already have almost everything planned 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ We are also looking in 2023 and I just got so excited I couldn’t stop! Booking stuff might have a wait a little bit, but it’s never too early to start planning!!!!

We are currently working on finding a venue... but we are weighing pros and cons of having a backyard wedding (we live in the country on 3 acres). I do not want to chance the weather and will need a tent, as well as renting all other needed items (tables, chairs, lighting, linens, bathrooms... not the blue portapotties!!) At that cost we might as well rent a nice venue and not have to worry about coordinating all of those items.

We got engaged on New Years! Planning for a 2023 wedding .. have a couple months picked but will pick the day based off venue availability ..because that will be our first and most expensive purchase

I got engaged in December and I’m already scheduled to tour four venues this summer! But I’m not getting married until 2023 so it’s not to early!!

I got engaged in October 17th and already booked my venue at the end of November! DJ and Photographer are done too! I’m getting married June 2nd 2023! I used to work in weddings and I know finding the right person can be tough and people book up quickly. We saw 17 different venues between when we got engaged and when we booked. I was slightly stressed because of others who have to push back their wedding with covid and price increases so I wanted to get a jump on things. Since I used to be a wedding planner, I know how important it is to get things done early! But make sure to enjoy your time being engaged! We made those outings to the venues as an adventure in the locations. I’m glad to have my stuff out of the way and secured for 2023! Best of luck!!
