Anyone get free stuff from from Shutterfly they can't even use??

I got a code for deals on photo books. I am going to use them as gifts for parents (using engagement shoot pictures) and then once the wedding photos come then I will (hopefully) get more codes to use for those photo books, too.

I got a $20 credit through David's Bridal that expires on Monday. I had two but we used one last night. My wedding is next Saturday so it expires to soon for me to use it for the wedding pictures.

I got a free book when we purchased a video camera at Best Buy. We'll be making a guest book with that free book. It'll have our engagement pictures in it. Useless to you.... Not to me!

You can use it as a guestbook or gather a collection of photos you have from dating or engagement photos and display it at your wedding.

I have gotten 2 8 x11 and 4 8x8 coupons. I give 2 away, made a book of my brother's wedding for my parents and using one to include photos of us dating and engagement photos for a wedding display.

I am sure by the time I get married or you- they will have more free coupons out there. FYI- they do get you for shipping.

I used mine for an engagement book, and I make vacation books so I can always use one for that.

Don't worry; they'll keep sending you codes for zillions of free things. LOL

I thought it was pointless when I got one for being an bridesmaid ($25 certificate). I didn't know what to do with it. I probably could have actually looked on shutterfly and found something as a christmas gift, but alas, I did not. I was thinking I might be able to get engagement photos done before then and print them out. Yeah...that didn't happen. So it went to waste. Whatever, it was free with purchase of my BM dress, so whatever.

I'm certainly not complaining about free stuff...no one loves a good deal more than me, but I'd like it to not expire! @LivelyBride that's what I'm hoping.

How did you even get the code or whatever it is? I did my two reviews and never received an email saying how to get the Shutterfly book. Does it take a week or more?

Yes--same thing happened to me. I passed the codes on and hoped that I would be able to get more after I got wedding pictures back!

You can ask DB for updated coupons since yours will expire before you need them. That's what my DB girl said I could do.

YES! My $20 coupons from DB all expire two weeks before the wedding. I'm just going to give them to my mom for her family photo albums.

Yup the coupon's i got expire...sometime soon, i think. my weddings in June. Does seem kind of strange that they don't take your wedding date into consideration, because like you said, they have that information. I guess they want you to use it on something else, and be so impressed with the product that you pay for their services after your wedding? It's probably something like that.
