Anyone else skipping the wedding band?

I am pretty sure I just want to wear one ring. It seems like most women rock both an engagement ring and wedding band. What's your take on it?

I wear both but my band is a very thin pave from Etsy. I don't know why but I liked someone being able to see my hand and know I'm married.

Maybe I just like people leaving me the hell alone, though...? Lots of people only wear the band or only wear the engagement right, though!

My cousin had a unique shaped ring and opted to only wear the engagement ring. I have a classic design for my ring. So I feel it looks more appropriate with a wedding band. I also like the option that I can just wear the band if I choose. I am a nurse so it's not always okay to wear my ring to work. I'd say do whatever you want. Smiley smile

One of the few specifications I gave my FH when he was looking for an engagement ring for me was that I wanted to be able to wear it all the time without it being a pain, so my e-ring sits fairly flat against my finger. My wedding band fits the shape and is just like a little row of diamonds underneath my e-ring, so I don't feel like it will really make a big difference wearing two, other than a physical difference between being married and engaged.

Your engagement ring represents just that, your engagement. If you want to take it off, and wear only your wedding band, then so be it. Your wedding band represents your true commitment to each other, IMHO. Wear both.

I will be wearing both. I plan on having them soldered together!

I am having two wedding bands! I have a micro band for my engagement ring paved with diamonds. I think it's 1.5 millimeters in width? Anyways, I love the look of a diamond micro band on either side, and it is all cheaper than a lot of the bigger wedding bands out there, so fh said go for it.

I can't wait to wear my bands and be a married woman!
