Im planning my 10yr anniversary /wedding/reception for Nov 29th 2014 my real anniversary is the 30th. Im wondering do we have to do the same rituals like garder tossing or bouquet toss. Do we need to put up a wishing well I would feel weird since we've been together for 10yrs. Im the only one planning this and its hard and frustrating. I've been checking on venues and there so expensive. Anyone have ideas

I am planning our vow renewal for September 3, 2016, it will be exactly 20 years and 7 months from our initial reception. We were married in Maryland during the blizzard of 96 and then we had a Buddhist ceremony, our reception was at my in-laws apartment. Since then, we have been saved, Christians, we have raised 3 children, 1 has graduated from High School and is currently entering her senior year at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), 1 that is entering his senior year in high school in hopes to attend FAMU in the Fall of 2015. And my baby who is entering 7th grade. We have been through so much but we are blessed and highly favored. God willing we will have one of the biggest vow renewal weddings in our family EVER!

So excited, if you have a wedding planner or a vendor or idea I would love to hear from you. We live in the DC Metro area.

My husband and I are planning our 10th anniversary/vow renewal/re-do in May 2015.

Very excited about it. Incorporating our daughter and nephews into the ceremony as well.

We have been through a whole hell of a lot in 10 years and are thrilled to be getting a second chance to have the wedding of our (my lol) dreams!

Hi guys. My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in March 2015. We were originally married at the courthouse and I still can't get over it. We've actually been trying to plan a wedding since then but it seemed like everything kept coming up and we had to put it off. Same thing has been happening, and now its January and I can't stop thinking about it. Any tips on how to plan a ceremony in 2 months?

My husband and I are doing a 10 year vow renewal. These past 10 years we've had 2 beautiful additions to our family. We have also experienced a great loss in mom my passing just 7 weeks after I had my first child. My husband is my world and I tell him, I'd remarry him everyday if I could. He suggested we do the vow renewal, so far we have booked the ceremony/reception venue

We are also trying to renew our vows. We got married in outer banks May 6, 2013 and a lot of our family couldn't make it so we decided to plan a vow renewal/reception on our 4th wedding anniversary. Do you have to have an actual wedding officiant to do the ceremony or can anyone do it since we are already married?

Shanna, anyone can do it. You can have a judge, priest or clergyman do it, or someone you love and are close to do it. You are already LEGALLY married, so there is nothing legality to be done...

We just got married in June 22nd, 2015 and I am planning our renewal for 2017. We were in a court house wedding with my mom and his best friend... but we wanted a big wedding. So I have started the plans NOW to figure out what I wanna do so that by next year it will just be putting money in what we want...

Oh my!! Thank you I also have my reception booked, and getting married in the church. The first time was a disaster and everything that could have gone wrong did. After reading so many negative on the internet I wanted to wind up in tears. Thank you I feel so much better now after knowing I’m not the only one.
