Anyone else getting married on a weekday?

Weekday weddings aren't for me but if they work for you why not! ?

Thursday wedding, but it's a destination wedding, so day of the week isn't as important we hope lol

Ours is on a wednesday evening. just worked out with the date we wanted

My wedding is on a friday. my venue is the same cost as the weekend, many places give big discounts to get married not on the weekend, so I think it's a good idea.

Yep! I'm getting married on a Monday afternoon. August 4th is a special day for us so it didn't matter to us what day it fell on. I feel better knowing I'm not the only one getting married on a weekday.

We will be on a Thursday with very little choice. It was between Wed or Thur in Italy.

Tuesday! Of course its a destination and we are not really worried about the convenience for our guests. If you can come great, if you cant we understand. And yes $ was a good reason too.

We're having a saturday evening wedding.

there was absolutely no price difference between friday, saturday or sunday that weekend, so why not do it on a saturday night? every wedding I am going to this year is a friday evening wedding.

Saturday buts its july 5,, but we have gotten some negative feedback from FHs family, who all own beach houses three hours from where we live (and will be holding the wedding). If they don't like it, they won't come and will save us some $$$.!

I'm getting married on a Thursday, at first I was meh about it but I chose a weekday to find deals since our wedding is in the midst of 'wedding season'. And lo and behold it worked, we've gotten several deals including a free venue upgrade, $400 discount with our photographer making it out to be under $1000 for 6 hours, and we also found a DJ who charges 3xs less on weekdays. And this is all in New York City where weddings are EXTREMELY expensive, so it has its perks!
