Anyone else getting married on a weekday?

I am getting married on a Monday, but it's Labor Day.

Friday, which is the "new Saturday", but worth it moneywise.

We have done a lot of weekday weddings. We have one coming up on a Tuesday. Thursday seems to be the most popular day, unless it is a holiday Monday when many people have off.

We are getting married on a Thursday- we picked the date b.c the next day is a holiday 07/4 and most people will be off. Also we got about a $4000 difference in venue price from a Thursday instead of a Saturday

I'm getting married on a Friday, if that counts.

It's a weekday, but guests don't have to worry about getting up early for work the next day, so they're free to drink and dance as much as they want! I hope it makes traveling for out of town guests easier, too, since they won't have to hurry to get home, and they still have time to relax before the weekend is over.

Having it on a Friday and off-season has gotten us a good bit of discounts off our costs, too.

We're having a Friday wedding because it saved us $7,000. The last few weddings we've been to have been on Fridays, it's becoming more and more popular

We're not having alcohol, so we weren't really worried about it. Our Monday isn't a holiday either, but our guests list is at 48 and is just our closest family and friends.

We are getting married on a friday, and it is not any cheaper to do so. the "minimum price" is lower, but we weren't going to have an issue with that anyway with our guest count. we are doing it because the church has afternoon mass on saturday, so that doesn't work well.

Friday here. Not saving any money because of it. But our venue wasn't available on the Saturday we wanted. I've gotten a small amount of negative feedback saying we are inconveniencing people. But I figured it would be better than a Sunday evening when people have to get to work the next day.

We are getting married on a Wednesday. We have the venue house from Sunday to Sunday and Wednesday was the day that seemed to make the most sense for the wedding. We have a little time to settle in before and a little to relax after.

I'm planning on doing a Sunday (haven't actually booked my venue yet). I've also heard a lot of the negativity about inconveniencing people, but the date I want has a lot of value to FH and me so I'm not really willing to give it up unless we can't find a venue available for that day. I'm planning a small wedding though and don't really want the crazy club atmosphere, so I think the Sunday will be just fine.

I'm having a Thursday morning wedding Partially because I'm OCD & had to have a "pretty" date, 8/28 haha. Also, because we're gonna be in Jamaica.

I'm gettin gmarried on a Monday too.. Monday evening to be exact. Kids will still be in school... and I'm not even having it in the city I live in. LOL Don't ask me why. Ours is small too, and you are right it saves thousands of dollars.

We're having the wedding on a Friday. No reason other than logistics.

We opted for a Saturday day wedding opposed to Saturday evening because it was literally half the price. Whatever works for the couple is all that matters : )

I don't know if you consider it a weekday but we're doing Friday evening.

Monday tho? Unless it was a very close family member, I would skip it for sure.
