Anyone else feel extremely uncomfortable during the garter removal?

I've been thinking about skipping that and the bouquet toss. Nearly all our friends and family are married so I don't see the point.

I did not do a garter toss or bouquet toss. I find both to be awkward.

I am skipping it. I do not want my FH crawling up my dress in front of my grandma lol. My aunt still bought me one but nobody will even know I have it on.

Definitely skipping! Among other things we don't want to single out any of our single guests. I'm "tossing" the bouquet directly at a friend who already knows his boyfriend is planning to propose soon.

Skipping both the garter and flower toss!

I'm still doing the bouquet toss though because I'll have a decent amount of friends and family who aren't married. My venue has a neat balcony that I really want pictures on and will toss from there.

I've always thought it was uncomfortable too! We are thinking about skipping it. If we decide to do it he will not be sticking his head under my dress in front of our entire families! Lol he can just simply pull it off. Whether we do it or not may depend on how many single men are at the wedding. As far as the bouquet toss, we may not have many single women and I think it's awkward to do a bouquet toss with only a few people. So we will likely do a dance for the married couples and the couple who has been married the longest will be given the bouquet.

Skipping it! It makes me feel so uncomfortable just watching it, let alone being apart of it

I finally convinced FH to skip it!!! He REALLY wanted to do it, but I was not comfortable with it. Thank goodness I got him to give in lol.

I'm super uncomfortable with this also and will be skipping this part. Most of my guests are not single, and those who are are kids. So I have a two teddy bears as a bride and groom. And will do the tosses with these rather than the flowers and garter belt
