If you want to camouflauge your arms, get a wide and longer veil that you can cover them with for the ceremony. Or wear a pair of gloves or get a little lace bolero jacket. These things will detract from the "arm fat" (even thin girls have it). After your first dance, don't worry about it. Everyone will be drinking and having fun and won't notice, so "take it off." Regardless, I think you will be beautiful just as you are!

Here's mine. It was a size 18, and I had to have it taken out some even from that.

Haven't bought my dress yet, but I'm going strapless and sleeveless. If my arms are still jiggly in a year and a half, then WHATEVER. I'm still going to look FABULOUS.

Sometimes, I just have to remind myself that my arms look like what they look like, and no one will be surprised or distracted--this is how they're used to seeing me. I am going to be trying to get back into running, but that's because I need to fit more movement into my life, and I don't have a weight loss goal.

LR that is a completely gorgeous gown!

I'm a 16, here's mine...the picture is really deceiving though! My dress makes me look MUCH thinner than I am! Of course, I'm bigger on the bottom and the dress hides that.

As far as arms go, all the plus size birdes I've ever seen, I've never honestly looked at their arms, and I don't think anyone else does either. I think it's just us being critical of ourselves.

I'm the opposite. I look at arms and hate when they are not covered up. I've never worn sleeveless in my life. I will for a my wedding but after losing 60 lbs (lost 30 in the last 2 months!) and lots of arm exercises!

I am plus size, and a month ago I ordered the Alfred Angelo #1136 dress. I was sure I wanted something with straps due to my large chest, but it's true that these dresses are designed to say up. Anything with sleeves make me look even wider...A strapless dress was indeed more slimming and flattering.

So two weeks ago I joined a gym with a personal trainer. My arms and shoulders looked terrible when I tried the dress on, and I think I can improve them a lot in the next five months...

I was also very worried about my arms, but I found a dress that makes my waist look tiny. I love that my dress has straps, and we have sewn a lace panel in to be a bit more modest because I don't feel like the low neckline matches the rest of this dress.

I think I look better in the dress than the model...I also bought the dress in white, not gold (which this picture shows). It's Alfred Angelo 2251. I usually wear a street size 18 in pants, and an XL to XXL in shirts. The sample was a size 18, but they told me to order a size 20. My alterations expert said they should have ordered the 18 for me because there was enough fabric in the dress to let it out a half inch where needed, instead of taking it in 4 inches on each side of my waist.

I thought about my arm fat for about half a second before thinking "screw it". FH loves me and apparently doesn't notice it so I'm not going to worry about what other people see. Lol, he has seen me at my not so pretty moments (like giving birth!) and hasn't ran for the hills yet!

It's somewhat hard to see but here's mine. I'm working on my arms but honestly, I think my dress looks fantastic so I doubt my arms will be the focus!

    Everyone's dresses are beautiful!

Here's mine. I think I look thinner in it, although I would love my arms to be a bit smaller.

Sorry I don't have a pic of me in my dress. But I have sleeves that come over my shoulders.
