We met in 2000 when I was dating a guy who was a sound guy for a local band. Gregg was the bass player. We got to be good friends, and even after the band, my relationship and his marriage broke up, we kept talking. I started bartending for my sister, and Gregg became a regular when I worked. Over a 6 month period we got a chance to really get to know each other. I started dating someone new, and after awhile he did too. Little did I know he had always had a crush on me, he's the kind of guy that wouldn't say anything to jepordize my current relationship. After I quit the bar, we kept in touch via email since we had both moved out of town to be with our respective partners. After some time he stopped emailing, and life went on. 5 years later my relationship had disintegrated enough to where I was moving back to my hometown. I was checking an email account I hadn't checked in a long time and there was an email from Gregg! He said how much he missed me, and missed talking to me. I could tell from that short email his relationship wasn't much better than mine. We reconnected by email, and set up a day to meet up and have a drink or two after work. It was so good to see him again! And there it was I learned how much he really liked me, and never forgot me, but his now ex girlfriend wouldn't allow him on the computer, she didn't trust him. I realized that maybe he was "the one" that day, and told him my break up story and that I was moving back home. He said he was too, the same month as me. When I told him about my new apartment he told me that was a short distance from where he was living. Needless to say, he helped me move in, stayed the night and never left! My friends and family love him, I love him and he's the best thing thats ever happened to me. This was almost 4 years ago. We decided to go to Vegas and get married, and it was just going to be us until my best friend got wind of the plans and word spread. So now we have friends and some family coming with us, and I can't wait for the day to become his wife.
