Any Michigan brides getting married in October

I do live in Michigan. I met my FH in the fall and we began dating in october so it only made sense for us to get married in October. Our wedding is actually this weekend!! We are having an outdoor wedding, so the weather makes us very nervous, but I think everything will be ok. The fall colors are gorgeous this time of year, which will make for great pictures! Our colors are peach and dark pink. We are from the other side of the state in a suburb of Detroit. Good luck to you, I am surprised no one else responded to you!

Live in Indiana but got married in Northern Ohio yesterday. Outside. My bridemaids wore chocolate brown and we carried orange gerbera daisies and roses. We ddn't include pumpkins but caramel apples were our favors (along with books). Plan for any weather! A week earlier and no way could we have had our ceremony outside like we did. Good luck to you.

Nice to know there's another Michigan bride on here!! I live in Holland, only a few minutes away from you. We're getting married in August, simply because I love the summer time. I think your October wedding will be beautiful. If the weather wasn't so unpredictable, we would've done ours in the fall too because I love the colors.

I'm not from MI or getting married there but my cousin got married two years ago in MI at the end of September ... she got married at St. John's Chapel in Plymouth ... her colors were a navy blue and silver and they did grand branch centerpieces with tea candles hanging on them ... gorgeous time of year to get married in MI for sure! Your fall theme sounds good. I don't live there and I'm not having my wedding there but I was born there and my photographer lives in Jackson, MI and is coming down to NC for my wedding. She did our engagement pics and is really reasonably priced. You should check our Accalia Shroads Photography (on here or on facebook...she's got portfolio stuff on facebook but not here on wedding wire) if you don't have a photographer yet.

My FH was living in Holland, MI last year (which is somewhat by you). There are a lot of beautiful areas over there.
