It was January of 2010 I was a single mom of two beautiful boys and had just been reunited with my best friend Missy, I was working as a special needs school bus driver. Brad was also single and  working for a plastic recycling company (still with the company) and he was working with Missy's husband Alex. Alex had told me about Brad and what a wonderful person he was, he said that the two of us should meet. Sooo I agreed and a few days later Alex had Brad come over to their house after work and had me come over to meet Brad. I remember when I first saw him, he was still in his dirty work clothes and outside playing in the snow with Missy and Alex's two boys, and he was so darn handsome. His beautiful eyes and lips with a stocky build and to top it off he was such a gentleman. That really set me back because I had never met a man so sweet as Brad was. He was so polite, intelegent, and he seemed to be great with kids. I knew then that I wanted to get to know him better. After that day we didnt see each other for a couple weeks, we were both just really shy and kind of on the guard as both of us have been hurt really bad in previous relationships. A couple weeks went by when all of a sudden I got a text message that said it was from my secret admirer, I looked at it like what the heck is this and who is it from? LOL He asked what my name was and details about me, I was not about to give my name or any details about myself to this person calling hisself my secret admire without knowing who it was. I asked if he knows me well enough to call hisself my secret admire then what was it about me that he admired? He replied back "your beautiful hazel eyes" I knew then who it was but I played along LOL. A week or so later he asked if he could take me out on a date and I agreed. We went out to diner at a wonderful italian restaurant in grand rapids and then from there we went to Dr. Grins at the Bob, man it was so much fun and we had a great time together. After that date we were pretty much inseperable. On Feburary 27th 2010 he asked me to be his girlfriend and I gladly said yes. Fast forward a year and half later to September 9th 2011, Brad poped the question not in a traditional way at all, it was by text message like when we had first started talking in 2010 so it was really sweet to me, I started crying and gladly accepted his proposal. And here we are now planning our wedding together for a small but intimate ceremony with close famliy and friends. UPTU UPUPDATE: Brad reproposed with a ring on October 8th, 2011. We had to bowl on our league with friends of ours and we were all practiceing before it started, I had turned around to walk back in line after throwing my ball and there he was down on one knee holding the ring! I started balling, he poped to question and the entire (all 36 lanes) of the bowling alley started cheering, apparently everyone was watching LOL. Brad made it perfect in so many ways!
