Any "leap Day" (02/29/20) brides out there?

I am. I'm so excited about it! We literally have put off getting married, just for that date! I can't wait.

Such a fun day to take the leap! We plan on celebrating big on the years it actually falls on the 29th. .

My wedding will take place on 2/29/20 as well! Congratulations to US! lol! Did you know that the law will consider your anniversary on 3/1 in non-leap years? I just found that out!

Leap day bride here too! I told my fiancé that on non-leap years we have to do a 2 day anniversary and yes! A big trip/celebration on leap days!

how are you guys incorporating Leap Day into your wedding day? I see some hashtags, any other cute ways out there??

I was going to do this!!! But we are getting married in Hawaii and my brothers birthday is 2/28 and my birthday is 3/2 so we decided we would not like it to be that close. Plus my brothers dad (my former step dad) isn’t invited to the wedding and would make a huge scene that he couldn’t see my brother on his birthday.

Me! I really wanted March 1 since that’s our anniversary, but the church doesn’t do ceremonies on Sundays so I suppose having a leap year wedding is just as fun!

Hi there. Congrats! I’m officially a Leap Day Bride as of yesterday! My groom and I are kind of nerdy and he asked me to marry him on Pi day, 3/14 at exactly 1:59am. So we decided Leap day would be great for the wedding. Bonus, it was my grandfather’s birthday!

Just got engaged yesterday and booked our venue for Leap Day today! I love the reaction we get from people when we say that’s our date! I’ve even heard a few people say “what day is Leap Day again?” 😂

Excited to know I’m not the only one that thought this would be cool. Personally I told him instead of a yearly anniversary, we should save and treat ourselves every few years to an extravagant trip! We travel and do a lot as it is, so I think this will make our anniversary a little more special.

We set the date for Leap Day as well and we are excited. Some people have questioned why we chose that, but it’s about what we want.
