Any "leap Day" (02/29/20) brides out there?

Date Twins!! We will celebrate on 3/1 since it will be the first day post our wedding to be married. My fiance is quirky like the date, hopefully we will make it to Europe on our 1st anniversary!

Us too! But no reason just thought it was different.

I'm a leap year bride also. We talked about alternating the years. But doing a big trip every four years! Our love story is unique and fun so we wanted a date to match!

We are also having a leap day wedding! We started dating on February 28th so we will continue to celebrate on the 28th and take a bigger trip every 4 years to really celebrate. Our rehearsal dinner will be on our 5th anniversary. I LOVED the idea of the leap day wedding and it is even more special to me because of our anniversary already falling on the 28th. We're doing a leap day wedding as well! We did a "courthouse marriage" on 03/02/19, so we picked to do a big wedding on 02/29/20 because it's the closest Saturday to our actual wedding date and it's super unique!

It'll be fun to celebrate our legal wedding date every year, and celebrate the leap wedding date year every four years

My wedding date is also leap day 2020! My fiance was IN LOVE with the idea and lets be honest the guys don't get excited about many things, so I let him have it.

I am! When reviewing options we were informed that the Feb 29th date was leap year and if we would mind. My fiancé and I looked each other and it was almost too perfect. Quirky and unique, just like us! 😊

I am a leap day bride too!! I am so excited especially because I am marrying a Murphy, we are having so much fun planning. I am so over the “oh, so you’re only going to have an anniversary every four years” comments though. We are planning on celebrating for three days/ a weekend and every four years having an awesome celebration!!! 🍀😍

We booked our venue in San Diego, CA for Leap Year 2020! I am here for some ideas of how to use "leap" to inspire the theme of the wedding decor. The only thing I've thought of is using putting the definition of the word on a board "jump or spring a long way, to a great height, or with great force," Merriam Webster: to spring free from or as if from the ground. Maybe I'll look at different dictionaries for definitions. I love to read and love words - not exactly a wordsmith though!

How cool that so many of us are going to share the same day. I was surprised that there was no FB page. The hashtag brainstorming hasn't been successful for us yet.
