I did it for my last year of college, I just planned during breaks. I did get stressed out to a point. But I also don't care much about every detail so that helps.

I am in school full time for my BS, I also work about 20 hours a week. We got engaged in March and are getting married next June. Since I had about 15 months I spread things out as much as I could. Scheduling is key! Set time aside for both school/work/homework and wedding planning and you should be good Smiley smile

It's completely doable. Wedding planning may become stressful you if you plan ahead, everything should be fine. If it will make you feel better, you could hire a wedding planner to do everything for you. I am currently working full time, and I go to school full time. It's completely doable.

I am working full time, in my master's program, and planning my wedding without a planner. It's def tiring sometimes, I feel like I'm always missing something, BUT we had over a year to plan the wedding and I started doing things very early. You can do it! Def a good resumer builder, you will be able to multi task like a pro!

Yep.. working online towards my masters in public history. Plus full time caretaker for my terminally ill mother and a substitute teacher. I have a 12 page paper due two days after my wedding. It is doable..plan a little at a time.

I've mostly tried to plan during breaks. Hard if you're taking summer classes, which I did last year. But I REALLY took advantage of my winter break. Since you're wedding is 10/2018, I'd maybe look into the big things right now... Venue, photographer, catering, etc., and take a day each weekend to figure out some of those things. Then during your winter break I'd try to take care of as many little things as you can! I 100% did not wedding plan from January until June of this year, which honestly felt really weird. Last I'd worked on planning I'd had over 6 months to go, so now I feel panicked that I'm on the other side of the semester with less than three months! But I planned carefully during winter break and I'm fully on track and I'm only taking one summer class, so I've got time to work on the little things now. I'm also lucky because I just kind of naturally have a gap semester the fall I get married. I've taken pretty much everything I can take before starting my nursing program in January, so I have a relaxed fall. Which we knew would be the case and that's why the wedding is then!

I've found it really helpful to just make a specific time each week, maybe an hour or two on a Saturday, to knock some things off my list. That way you aren't focusing on it as much during the week when you should be thinking about work and school. I just got my Master's this May and the whole last semester while writing my thesis I completely stopped wedding planning except for taking an hour or so a couple times a month.

When you have a break from classes or finish some big projects, that's a good time to get more focused on planning.

My wedding is in 12 months and I go to school full time; I attend class a couple times a week at the school and also do online. And I also go to work. And I also do all house duties/clean/cook/etc. I just do it. I make sure my schooling comes first.. then house stuff.. then wedding planning at night with a glass of wine.

I have less than 3 months left before the wedding, just graduated nursing school and ive worked full time through the whole thing. Best advice... day by day. Thats all you can do. My mind would be going a mile a min with having young kids as well i was so stressed. Just remember day by day is all you can do. Focus on school first, then save some maybe once a week to start wedding planning. It can all be done!! Best of luck to you!! You got this Smiley smile

Hey girl! I I am also going to be in school, working, and student teaching while trying to plan a wedding this year. I'm trying to get as much planned this summer while I'm off as I can, at least all the major choices. I'm hoping to be able to just do the simple things like shop for a dress, go to tastings, and attend fittings while I'm in school.

I am in my master of social work program and did not take a break from semesters bc of my wedding. During my mini breaks between semester I would get ahead and get all the major things done and I had all my vendors booked before my fall semester. I work full time and a part time and go to school and plan a wedding it is possible

I work full time, go to school full time (actual physical school), juggled a move and planning a wedding.

My advice is make lists. Check things off one at a time. If you hit a block on one thing, do another. Try to do something every weekend. Start calling vendors as soon as possible. The more notice you have the more likely they are to be able to accommodate your crazy schedule.

Me! I'm in grad school right now. I did as much as possible last summer, winter break, and this summer. I'm hoping to have all the big stuff taken care of before school starts up again. Be aggressive with your free time!

I have a 4 yr old, work full time and am going to school full time. Take advantage of breaks, and do little bits at a time.

I know this has already been said but get as much done as you can on your breaks so you can focus on school during your semesters. Also, keep that in mind when you are planning so you can't be indecisive. Make a decision and stick with it. When you second guess something, remember you don't have time to worry about it!
