STB Mrs Van Blargan, on September 19, 2010 at 8:58 PM Posted in Planning 0 14

I was looking at alternative bouquets, and my reoccurring idea of making a pearl bouquet popped into my head. Now, Im really considering it but I dont know how to make it.. Anyone have any ideas of what do you, what to put the pearls on?? How to keep the pearls still?? Thank you!!

Yes, almost exactly but alittle more simple.

I think it would be easy enough to do with just some wire, and some pearl and crystal beads of varying shapes and sizes...then you can wrap the "stems" of the wires with floral tape and cover it with white satin ribbon.

You should easily be able to find some pearl "floral accessories". I know I've acquired some at Hobby Lobby before to use as hair accessories for prom / homecoming up dos. A bead section would be good to check out as well. I agree with using wire so that you can maintain / create the shape that you want.

I think Carmen put pearls into her bouquet, but I can't remember.

Yknow, it kinda looks like a doilie with lines of pearls going around it. Kinda like a spiderweb?

I will have to visit the craft store, I dont have one in my area.. And, see what my mom says about it.. She is great at crafts. How do I keep the pearl, staying still on a piece of wire???

To keep them still and the whole wire is not used use a crimp bead(s) to keep them in place.

or if you use the whole length of the wire you can twist the wire and make a little circle to hold it on. the only thing about that is if you are not really careful you sometimes get sharp edges.
