Any ideas for an outdoor aisle runner?

I really want an aisle runner at my outdoor wedding but I also don't want to trip and fall. Does anyone have a creative solution?

I've thought about wooden planks but I'm not sure how that would look...maybe too industrial.

If you’re worried about tripping you could always just line the sides of the “aisle” with flowers, lanterns or anything else that would go with your theme. That way you don’t need an aisle runner but it would still dress it up and make it look pretty😊

Hey Lindsay

You could also secure your aisle runner using stakes either through the carpet or along the sides to hold it down. You could then cover them with petals or other decor items! Here are some pictures from Google and Pinterest which demonstrate this.
