If you are into DIY there are TONS and I do mean TONS of things on Pinterest. Pinterest will also give you a multitude of ideas that you can save to a board specifically for your wedding/reception and any other things you might do the HP theme for. I'm a total Potterhead myself, but we decided that since we both love the beach we wanted to have a beach-themed wedding. I'm into HP and he's into Star Wars and that just was NOT going to work for us in planning a wedding in less than 6 months.

We are doing a “Harry Potter” themed wedding!!!


I hand painted the “Wedding Party Proposal Boxes” in the 4 “House Colours/Crests”. Then added themed items to all of the boxes- as well as personalized items.
I have hand painted little wooden animals for the “Ring Security” & “Flower Fairy” to play with. As they are the only two kids, it is an 18+ wedding.
I have themed photo booth props: hats, capes, “Harry Potter” cutouts, picture frame, “Have you seen this Wizard/Witch” cutout frame, backdrop of Platform 9 3/4( shower curtain!)
Themed the “Welcome Bags” too! Bathroom Baskets will have signs that are themed.
Food has been, as are the Signature Drinks.
Using the house colours ribbons to tie off stems of Bouquets. As well as buy the robes for my girls- so if it’s too cold they can wear them- undone for the ceremony.
And a few other ideas! What about you?!?!
