Any funky song plans?

I’m planning to walk down the aisle to Tom Petty’s “Here Comes My Girl” instead of the traditional Here Comes the Bride. I’m hoping my fiancé can get it edited right!! 😃

I think the only head shaking thing I had was my husband wanted to make and mix all of the drinks for our cocktail hour himself on the day of... right before the ceremony was to begin. And we had like 100 people at our ceremony ok aha
I was like well I think that’s a lot of work ya know.. but nooooo aha he wanted to make it himself so I just shrugged and said ok it’s on you aha . Later on he said he was really stressed aha

For my sister's wedding, after they kissed, they turned around, put sunglasses on and walked out to Death of a Bachelor by Panic at the Disco

I'm a rock girl, so I've found some interesting options to get some of my favorite songs into the ceremony and reception 😂 I guess I'm almost as "bad" as FH! I found "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica on Danish guitar for the last song before the ceremony begins and I'm throwing my bouquet to Pat Benatar 😂

Our recessional was an instrumental version of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" - and it took our guests a little bit to figure out what it was, and then they all started laughing, because our entire theme was our baseball team.

My favorite part of weddings is when the couples' personalities come through.

In terms of men wanting to do things the hard way... DH wanted to order our invites before we had worked out all the details with the priest. Thankfully, I put my foot down, because we ended up *not* getting married by the priest!

I love this! I havn't really had any head shaking moments yet because my FH and I have very similar humor lol. I love when weddings have some comedy!

My sister in law walked down the aisle to “Hooked on a Feeling” and the first thing we hear to announce she arrived was “OOGA CHAKA OOGA OOGA OOGA CHAKA ...” and we all burst out laughing because this was right after the bridesmaids and groomsmen walked out to this dainty traditional song. It was a great and memorable moment.
