Amazon wedding dresses

Stephanie, on September 30, 2018 at 12:28 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
So ive been kinda browsing and lurking about on the internet to do some research on more affordable wedding dresses.
Im a size 24 so findibg larger dress sizes is very difficult tho i am trying to lose a large amount of weight before my wedding i know im still going to be a bigger girl.
Anyways, my first plan was david bridal as they have a larger selection of plus sized dresses and they all looked very affordable but then i found out that the tailoring thru them was outrageous and often twice as much as the dress you bought.

Then i saw a woman on youtube trying on different wedding gowns like places from wish and amazon etc. I would never use wish because of sizing issues but amazon seems to have quite a bit of a selection for very reasonable prices and in larger sizes.

Long story short, has anyone had experience ordering wedding/formal clothes online or from amazon? Ive never ever ordered clothes from amazon and am worried about spending the money and not being able to send it back and being scammed out of said money.

I don't if Amazon does it for wedding dresses but they have a program where you can buy clothes and try then on. They send a return box with the clothes. So if you don't want them keep what you return what you don't want or don't fit you can send them back. With paid postage on the box. I have bought clothes from Amazon and everything I've bought fits well. Rule of thumb when buying a wedding dress is take your measurements or or one size up. You can always have it altered down a size or two. There is a site called Cocomelody.com. They have awesome reviews. There is an actual store in Los Angeles. Alot if women have ordered from them and they are very affordable and beautiful dresses. I'm thinking if buying mine from there. My wedding isn't til 2021. So I'm waiting ti see what styles come out and what goes down in price if the ones I do like

I have competed in plus size pageants and I'm a size 24/26. I used them for pageant ware and have had luck. Look for sellers that allow custom Sizes so you can send in your measurements.

Also, you don't have to have your dress tailored at David's Bridal. You can pick it up and bring it to a seamstress of your choice.

If you're going to order online, I still highly recommend going to shops and trying on different styles. Try searching for plus size bridals shops near by too - I had an amazing experience in Minneapolis at an exclusively plus size shop and there's one in Chicago I've heard wonderful things about as well.

I considered it. Some of the sellers on Amazon do custom dresses based on your measurements. Just make sure you read all of the reviews.
