Am I the only one who hates chiavari chairs?

I admit I almost changed my venue because I wanted those stupid chairs. Luckily I came to my senses.

Nope, you are not alone in disliking them. I dislike them too. We are having them. I'm not even bothering to cover them. The guy at our venue made a big deal about them, like I should be grateful we're getting them without an upcharge. Just not my taste, but they're chairs. We'll live if we have them. It will be ok.

Ashely- our venue includes chair covers and sashes with our choice of color so I'm not spending extra money thank goodness. I think they look nice if they fit correctly

I sadly REALLY like the chivari chairs. However, I wouldn't have paid extra for them because they're ridiculously expensive to rent. I also like the simple white wooden folding chairs. I've seen them in other colors besides silver and gold... typically, white, black, and brown.

I'm not a big fan of chair covers either. They make a room look too messy to me if they aren't perfectly done.

I am with Ashley. I can't stand chair covers. I like white folding chairs, they are simple and go with everything. One of the reasons we chose out venue.

This is one of those things that almost no one notices but you....

I don't like them, but FH does and they are the better option at our venue. I think that they are a waste of money because quite honestly I can't remember the last time I can recall what type of chair I sat at.

I didn't even know what they were called until this thread. What are the white folding chairs that everyone is talking about. I've never seen those in reception venues if they are the chairs I'm thinking of, I usually see them for outdoor ceremonies?

I really like them, but not enough to pay extra for them.

I hate the colored ones in gold or silver, but I like the wood ones that are legit wood. The Naturals are the only ones I like!

The ones I hate are the clear ones. No one needs to know what granny's bum looks like when she is sitting.

I'm with Kayla..I've never seen the white one's anywhere except an outdoor ceremony? I don't think I care about the chairs much. As long as I can sit somewhat comfortably...I'm good.

I love them! My venue has them in gold. I have two other options to pick but I like the chiavari chairs. Dont like the ones covered in white cloth wt sashes. Plus they go well with my colors.
