I wonder how many of you ladies have asked yourself this question.. Why did you ask yourself this question? Am I a Bridezilla if.... I wonder how many of you ladies have asked yourself this question.. Why did you ask yourself this question?

Am I a Bridezilla if.... I want my bridesmaids to wear an updo because I will be wearing my hair down?

Am I a Bridezilla if... I am seriously considering long bridesmaid dresses as opposed to short ones because I'm afraid they'll pick hideous shoes to wear?

Lastly.. Am I a Bridezilla if.... I want to kick everyone out of the wedding, nix the guest list, take a loss on deposits already made & just have a destination wedding? >Smiley smile

Ask yourself if you're a Bridezilla and let's hear why!

@GameCox - Wouldn't say that makes you a Bridezilla. It's not like you picked a dress and asked her to cover the tats with make-up after the fact. You just wanted to be informed (so if she'd gotten a huge eagle across her shoulder blades you could look less at halternecks, for example) in order to make a educated choice with BM dresses which is perfectly reasonable.

Thanks, Poppet!! Fortunately for me, we were only looking at one tattoo. A tramp stamp that I knew about and she once promised her mother she would never get one above the bra line. Winning!

I don't have any bridezilla moments...I am pretty laid back about this wedding, maybe it's because the people around me have for the most part been supportive and both my FH and my parents are pretty much letting me have my way about things...I'm pretty happy with the process thus far...Except for the big blowout about the freaking chair covers...But Chiavari chairs have fixed all of that...LOL!

My mom is the "mom-zilla", but I can't trip...She's paying for everything, I'm grateful.

My mom told me I was being a bridezilla because I wanted a photographer with a certain style, not my dad, who hasn't picked up a professional camera in 10 years.

Her argument "Oh, you don't need pictures of your wedding." And when I argued that she goes "Well let your dad do it, you don't need him to walk you down the aisle."

    Gahhhh. I won.

As long as you say everything with a smile and stay calm, youre not a bridezilla, but if you enforced any of the rules by yelling then youd be

If my fh was willing and we were set I would run off tonight and get married in a second. I feel like a bridezilla when my moh complains about my Friday wedding interfering with work(maybe) to the point I don't want a wedding party.

I believe a bride should be able to get what she wants.... but a bridezilla is when she is a total jerk to get it.

Am I a bridezilla because I'm making all my bridesmaids get their tattoos covered with makeup?

Am I a bridezilla because I have a "length limit" for their fake eyelashes??! (I call the bat wings the way ppl wear them nowadays eww)

Am I a bridezilla because I don't want them wearing toooo flashy of jewelry. I know my theme is diamonds are forever but you will NOT be blinging more than me.

Am I a bridezilla because I made them send 6 NICE photos of themselves so I can choose 1 of the 6 to put up on my wedding website? (Some ppl sent 6 and they were still NOT going up lol)

@Kelsey...well put. I only have a MOH - no BMs, so it keeps it simple. I told her the color of the dress and the material, but left the rest up to her. She has several tattoos, but that's my girl and I don't want to change a thing about her. Mom is gratefully over 1,000 miles away so there's no interference from her (there would be if she were here). FH lets me do whatever I want as long as I run it past him first. I'm paying for the entire wedding, so there's no reason for me to argue with anyone about anything. If that weren't the case...

@Niecy, the popular opinion around here is that it is wrong to make people cover their tattoos...it is a part of their body. It's rhe same as making them lose weight or change their hair color etc...

I think these are rhetorical questions, correct? lol

Well depending on the dress you choose for the girls sometimes cleavage is unavoidable for some gals. just sayin :-) Also if you do require an updo, you need to pay for it, not the BM.
