Alternative Wedding Style

Sooooo I’ve been thinking about things and I was wondering what everyone else thought. I’ve been thinking of an alternative wedding style for my fiancé and I.

I was thinking of dressing in a white leather dress (nothing kinky) actually quite conservative to say the least. The ones I’ve found are quite beautiful.

And if we did do leather, should we wear gloves?

next i was thinking tights or no tights if so... which color (remember I’m looking at WHITE leather)

lastly SHOES. What color or style of shoes should we wear?

    Before you make any decisions about your wedding attire, take into consideration the season and weather you’ll be getting married in, and if you’ll be getting married inside or outside.
    I’m pretty sure leather isn’t a breathable fabric, so you’ll most likely be a little toasty, especially if you are outside.
    But I think you’d definitely be making a unique statement if you went with leather! Smiley smile

    I think gloves would look really cool and complete the look with a leather dress.

    As for tights, I’d go without them

    For shoes, you could find a pair of white shoes that match your style, and match the vibe you want for your wedding (boots, heels, flats, sandals, sneakers, etc)

    Don't let anyone tell you that any of your ideas aren't typical, it's supposed to be about what you two want. The white leather sounds so cool! I'm not a huge fan of gloves but that's just me personally and because I just picture costume gloves. Maybe wait to decide on tights until you know wedding colors?

    Gloves are yes from me. If the dress is over the knees you can't go wrong with white or metallic ones. You could either get really loud colored shoes in your accent color or matchy matchy with white. A long dress I don't think you need anything under it for your legs.
    I will also repeat to mindful of the weather in leather. You don't want to sweat and get BO.

    Hey... would you be interested in a detachable train? It might add a touch of bridal but in a very cool dramatic way with a modern dress like that.

    No gloves, no tights, but kick-a** shoes! White, black, metallic or a bold color you want in your decor like red.

    I want to avoid reds. Personally I’m color blind to reds. I want to look at my pictures and actually see them hahahaha.
    That and I want a classy alternative wedding

    I agree with previous posts. consider the time of year, weather, venue, formality, vibe, and style of your wedding. Gloves, tights, and shoes should match the style of your wedding-- nix them if they don't work with the overall look.
