I love my diamond... I wished it had been a bit larger, but it's the perfect diamond, literally. He went with quality versus quantity. I love my diamond... I wished it had been a bit larger, but it's the perfect diamond, literally. He went with quality versus quantity. But, my friend works for a jeweler and brought me there today to look at wedding bands. My setting is low so every wedding band would not fit properly. I don't like the look of rounded bands. She asked if I would be willing to switch the band itself to one that pops the diamond up higher. I tried on a solitaire with the same size diamond as mine (.70 Carats), with five prongs versus my four prong. Holy shit! The ring looks fab! And even more amazing with the wedding band(s). I'm actually doing stackable. So, I decided to change the setting. I'm having a conversation with my fiancé tonight. Basically, the wedding bands weren't siting right with what he got me, and the jeweler said that give prongs protects it better.

I couldn't imagine changing the setting of my ring. My husband would be so hurt.

I've gotta say I'm jealous you used to be able to use cuss words on here lol!

    I love 6 prong settings(your post says 5 but it's clearly 6). Apparently it's the Tiffany setting

DH and I ordered my e-ring and wedding band as a set. They fit together, with the band having a small part that inserts into the e-ring so they don't slide around each other. Maybe you could look into a custom jeweler to make one that would fit.
