Almost 6 weeks after our wedding and still have not seen a single professional pic! :(

Everyone says I should just email our photographer, but I'm worried she will be annoyed because in the contract it says it can take up to 8 weeks to get all the pics. I just don't want to wait anymore! I don't need ALL the pics, i just want to see a few! Its so hard to wait!

I'm with you on waiting if that's what the contract says...but towards the end of week 7 I would definitely email her...it's strange she hasn't even posted a sneak peak....I didn't even pay my photographer and she said she should have mine by Monday

My friend's photog didn't post a sneak peek for her either. she said she wanted to focus on catching up with all her weddings rather than posting sneak peeks. it took a little over 2 months for her to get her photos. she finally just got them this week and her wedding was mid august.

i would have freaked out without at least a sneak peek. omg. lol.

I would probably wait until next week then just email and ask how the pics are coming along then just mention your really eager and excited to see what a good job they did...That way your asking but not in a nagging kinda way! Im sure they will understnad!

Tell the photographer you're wanting to send out thank you notes and they'll include your pic so if you could have a few choices that would be great!

Wait the 8 weeks before inquiring. We (photographers) tend to know how long our workflow takes and how much other work we are processing ahead of yours. I would not get upset unless they are late, as you were fine with hiring them when they told you the turnaround up front.

Ahhhh you have every right to be anxious! I would be counting down the days as well. But as others are saying I would wait it out until the end of the 7th week and then say something. Just send out a friendly e-mail, maybe say something like ChampagneTaste suggests! Good Luck and time will fly before you know it- I bet the pictures will be well worth the wait Smiley smile

We've been married almost 3 weeks and I still haven't seen a sneak peek. It took 2 months just to get our engagement pics back. I am trying not to think about it and try to just remember that in the long run, the important thing is not sneak peeks, but to have beautiful pictures. She did a great job with the engagement photos so I am confident she will do a great job with the wedding pics. But it still doesnt mean I am not DYING TO SEE SOMETHING!
