All inclusive venue tipping?

Dessa, on December 23, 2020 at 3:35 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3
How would I do this? I know you don’t usually tip owners but what if the owners are also the coordinator and officiant?

Also how would I tip 1-2 bartenders if I do a diy package where I buy all the drinks/mixers?

You tip only for stellar service that goes above and beyond the call of duty. There is no rule that you shouldn't tip owners. But no one should be tipped for bad service or barely doing their job. Do not tip anyone before the final service is performed. They can wait till you come back from your honeymoon and can assess their quality of service with an objective frame of mind.

Tip what you feel the stellar service only deserves..going rate is 10-15% but don't go broke either.

I agree with this. Only tip if you're highly satisfied with the service.

Hi Dessa! I would tip the bartenders like normal based on the number of hours they are working! They're still doing all of the drink service!

You can tip your wedding planner 10-20% based on service, and its' recommended to tip $50-$100 to a civil officiant or a donation of $100 to your officiant's house of worship. Here's a helpful tipping guide you can check out that breaks everything down: Exactly How Much To Tip Wedding Vendors! 💰
