Aisle song help!

So, I’m trying to figure out the song I’m walking down the aisle too. I LOVE the song Drops Of Jupiter, so much to the point where I’m going to get a tattoo in honor of that song. My mom passed away this past summer and every time I hear that song it makes me think of her in heaven, since that’s what the song describes. I desperately want to walk down the aisle to that instrumental version. However, my dad was saying that it’s not wedding-y enough, and to maybe do it for the family precessional. I just think it’s a beautiful song. My fiancé knows how much I love the song too. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

If you love that song, then that's the song you should walk down the aisle to. It is your wedding so you should do what you want not what your dad thinks. I just listened to an instrumental version of the song and I think it sounds totally fine.

First I'm so sorry for your loss. I think I agree with your dad...not that it isn't "wedding enoug" but if it makes you think of your mom maybe you can incorporate it in another part of your wedding day unless your mom was going to be walking you down the aisle then that makes more sense. I think listening to while walking may make for an even more emotional time but your loss is fresh so more than likely the entire day will be a ball of emotions. But it's your day...do what's best for you and your groom. Best wishes.

I think if you desperately want to walk down the aisle to it then you should. Maybe listen to it a few more times before you decide for sure, maybe you will even find another moment you would love it to be played instead. But if you feel that strongly I bet they would understand. If not make sure you incorporate it somewhere!!

I think if you love that song and can't imagine walking to anything else, do it! An instrumental version would be beautiful!
