Airbrush tan before the wedding

LoveYouMoore, on April 13, 2017 at 3:03 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

Help. My wedding is next weekend and I'm not sure if I should get a spray or not. I've never had one before but my bridal package includes two at my salon. Please share your experiences!

My experience was bad! A lot of streaking and orange hands. You don't really have much time to do a trial so I would so please DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!

I've personally never had a good experience with airbrush tanning. The last one I had flaked off my face in weird places - it did not look nice.

I've never had an issue with them but I've always had someone do it by hand not in the booths.

Varies based off different salons! Also, the chemicals react differently with different people's skin, so what works for some people doesn't for others. Since you do not have time for a trial, I'd skip it. It's a big risk to take when you have no clue what the results will be.

If you've never done this before, I wouldn't get one right before your wedding. You want to look like the best version of yourself on your big day, not an altered version. Save the spray tan for later. (Edit for autocorrect issue)

This close in, don't risk it. If you have some time before your honeymoon you could try one for that!

If you've never done one before - don't do it!!!! You don't want to experiment with anything new right before the wedding!

If you didn't have a spray tan when you tried your dress on don't do it. Another thought changing you skin tone will completely change the way your total makeup look is going to need to be. It could also permanently ruin the inside of your dress if it rubs off

You have enough time to get it today or tomorrow, see if you like it, and it fade away before your wedding since its more than a week away. They only last a few days, less if you exfoliate. I love spray tans and think they look amazing for special events. Just as long as you exfoliate the hell out of your body beforehand, go to a professional place, do all the after-care tips they recommend (moisturizing, letting it dry, not getting wet for a few hours) it should look good. also go with a light or medium to look natural.

As a teen I worked at a tanning salon and would do spray tans by hand. I personally think they come out better than the booth. I did a booth and I had specks on my face so I went right home and showered it off. Why don't you use Jergens lotion with the tanner? Only thing is make sure you wash between your fingers.

I vote go for it. I had one that was flawless. If it's a good place, you will be fine. And if for any reason you hate it, you can exfoliate and it'll wash off quicker.

I've been sprayed twice by an actual person not a booth, and I loved how it turned out both times! I'm very fair skinning and I have a lot of uneven skin tone on my arms and I liked that it covered that up.

I am pro spray tan. However, that does depend on if it's by hand or in a booth. If you have a professional doing it, you should be fine. The spray tan should fade within a week, especially if you exfoliate. I would not do one for your wedding unless you try it out first to see how the type of product they use comes out on your skin. Some products can make you look orange and unnatural so definitely try it out first! Most places suggest waiting 8 hours before showering, but if you are fair skinned, like me, I shower before that so it doesn't look too dark.
