this is a constant battle, but in the law once you turn 18 you are seen as an adult basically, what if you were to marry someone 20-30 years older than you?

It wouldn't be legally wrong but in the eyes of many it would become a forbidden love, but why is it that people with money such as celebrities can live their lives without judgement but everyday people like you and I would be judged for such a huge age gap?

What's your opinion and do you or did you ever struggle with this situation?

A lot depends on the attitude of the people doing it. I remember one uncle announced, "I'm marrying a 22-year-old" when he was at least 20 years older than that. And he got judged not because she was younger, but because the very first thing he said about her was her age--he clearly thought having a much younger girlfriend was a sign of virility.

Conversely, I'm 15 years older than my wife. But when I introduced her to the family, I talked about the things we had in common, not her age. I haven't heard any judging.

And I would also agree with others; you shouldn't be getting married to anyone, of any age, at 18. Yes, you're legally an adult. But your brain isn't fully mature until you're 25. And life changes so fast in young adulthood, you're much more at risk for discovering that you just aren't compatible after a few years if you get married very young.

Everyone, not just celebrities get judged daily! Granted it is odd marrying someone that is 20-30 years older than you, but, its your choice. Don't look to others for validation on this subject, if you have concrete relationship with your SO.
