After party ideas in San Diego.

My wedding is in the summer next year. My fiancé and I are trying to figure out what we want to do for our afterparty since our wedding reception ends at 10pm. Our wedding reception is in Encinitas, I'm not sure what's out there that's open late, and by 10pm we might have some tipsy people so I don't know if it's right to have people drive all the way downtown. We're thinking anywhere between Encinitas down to Mission Valley or Downtown. Any ideas?

Encinitas And mission arent what youre looking for! Downtown (gaslamp) has TONS of options!! Encinitas has a few smaller bars, but its full of older people and hipsters. Prepared to be glared at uncomfortably!

I second what @KWells says! Downtown will be your best option! My favorite place is the Shout house! They are a dueling piano bar and its really fun for everyone there because they will play ANY SONG! So much fun for an after party! Most likely you will have to call and make reservations (that doesn't have to be done right now, you're a year away) a few months before your date.

Thats awesome!!!! I'm hoping my girls will take me there! They most likely will just take me to the bars and bar hop!!! Congrats!!! Sorry I couldn't be more help!! Haha San Diego is my beautiful city and I haven't been out in about in a while so I'm not sure where the other great places are!
