Hello, Have any brides found legitimate shops/websites that make nice yet affordable wedding dresses? I found some shops on Etsy that claim to customize wedding dresses but I’m not sure how legit they are or if their reviews are real. Can anyone speak from experience?

Etsy reviews and vendors are legit. They don’t let you review a product unless it was purchased by you. Read the reviews and chat with the vendors you are interested in to see what they can customize.

Highly recommend visiting an off the rack bridal shop/boutique near you! You take it home with you that day, they recommend the best places for alterations in the area, and they are super nice on the pockets. I’d venture 90-95% of their dresses will be designer with the rest being private collections. They have everything you can think of- lace, beading, sequins, illusion, all necklines, all skirt shapes, and so many sizes!!
I didn’t want to spend a ton on a dress so I went off the rack and found one for $700. Alterations cost me a couple hundred- I knew that would happen no matter where I shopped because of my sizing needs.
