Affordable wedding dress

Seeing as how you’re doing a Gatsby theme, would you ever do a more nontraditional wedding dress?? Like a long Gatsby beaded gown instead of the typical white/ivory dress? Or did you want a traditional wedding dress?

Like NOT this dress, but I’m saying maybe something along this idea?

Like maybe something similar to this… Because you can find them on Amazon, and then you can take them to a seamstress if you need to add anything extra or for alterations. They are very cheap on Amazon and it won’t cost you nearly as much as a regular wedding dress.

I love that era. I’m all for Art Deco decor and over the top opulence. You can also try Etsy if you want a flapper styled dress.

I would also try the pre-owned route, if you’re open to that. Websites like preowned wedding dresses, Stillwhite, etc. It might be a hassle to find exactly what you’re looking for but you can find great deals

Take a look at prom dresses

I second the advice to go looking at prom dresses! I bought my wedding dress at a formal wear store. They usually carry a small number of actual wedding dresses along with many other white formal gowns that are perfect non-traditional wedding dresses. Depending on where you are and what is nearby, some vintage clothing stores have similar dresses to what you are looking for.

They have affordable dresses and they have a "Try On" option where you order a dress for 15.00. If you like the dress you buy it or if not you return it free of charge. I tried on two dresses and returned them. Very good quality.

I found my dress on Poshmark! It was never worn- still w the tags on it- Maggie soterro dress... $1900 in stores- and I paid $575! It’s worth a look... the same dress I bought was available on still white for $1200

I usually suggest for people to look for gowns that are not "wedding" or "bridal" so in other words, think prom or evening gowns!! my dress was actually an evening gown in white and it looked so bridal but it was inexpensive
