Affordable Photographers in the DC Area?

I'm a photographer--I can't stick around all day for $850, but I can do 4 hours with an assistant photographer and a CD of the images. PM or email/call me if you'd like to char more!

I LOVED my photographer. Her name is Amanda Gilley and she is out of Springfield, VA (she does travel too!) She is awesome. I hate getting my picture taken but she made me feel at ease. Heck she even did a boudiour shot for hubby's x-mas gift. She has all different packages. I also did not have a second shooter- and I think the photos came out amazing! e-pics password: j&d

I think you are going to continue to have a hard time finding 2 photographers for 8 hours for that price. You might want to consider seeing if you can find just 1 photographer.

Personally pictures are one of the more important things for my wedding so we are spending a lot on pictures compared to the other vendors we have hired.

@Stacy makes a good point. I will say the one place you may want to "spluge" within your budget is on photos. They last FOREVER! :-)

Thanks, everyone. I ended up splurging afterall. I found a photographer who will shoot all day (12 HRS or however long I need him for the day), included bridal portraits (prior to wedding and day of), an engagement session, a second photographer, will provide a 16" x 20" canvas photo of choice at the reception and I have the rights to all of my photos for $2000. That's a lot included for that price so I went for it! I absolutly LOVE my engagement and bridal pics. Well worth my hard earned money!
