addressing invitation/save the date to married doctors?

Not sure if anyone has encountered this, but one married couple we are inviting to our wedding are both doctors. I feel like it would be slighting the wife to put "Dr. and Mrs." on the invitation but "Dr. and Dr." sounds funny. We want to send out our save the dates this weekend and this is tripping me up. Thoughts?

And yeah, definitely don't put "Dr. and Mrs." She earned it just as much as he did. We're having a ton of doctors at our wedding (mostly academics with PhDs) and so we have quite a few envelopes that say "The Drs. Smith," "The Drs. Jones," etc.
