Address and wedding website

Miosotys, on August 15, 2019 at 8:44 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4
For those of you having your wedding or party st your home - are you putting your address on your wedding website? And are you sharing your wedding website publicly on socia media?

I am a little hesitant about that part. Also for those of you rsvping online, how do you deter other people who don’t get an invitation from rsvping when you share your wedding website on social media.

Am I over thinking all of this?

I haven't shared my wedding website on social media at all. We included it on the invitations and texted it to those that were invited and asked for it.

We aren't getting married at home, but I would be extremely hesitant to put my address online with all the other details. If you use the knot as a hosting site, I know they have the option of either making your site password protected or non-searchable in Google. That could make it safer for you to put your address up. Or just put that the wedding will be at your house and to text bride or groom for the address.

As an example, I was Googling my wedding venue and easily found a couples wedding website that was marrying the weekend prior to us.

Okay thank you I’m glad I wasn’t over thinking it- I might put the address on the invitations but for sure not on the website. I used webix for my wedding website so I’m going to have to see how to rsvp because I’m not doing inserts.
