Adding sequins to wedding dress

I had my first fitting this past weekend on 8/20. The material the designer showed me was not what I requested. I wanted rhinestones and he showed me sequins. It wasn't until he began to pin the material on me that I had a full blown bridal moment and fell in love with it. I didn't think I'd like it but I am in love with the sequins on my dress.

They might be able to either add sequins or even a sparkly layer underneath the top layer, but the best person to ask would be a seamstress. Once they look at your dress in person, they'll be able to give you a better idea of how doable it is, and what the cost would be if it is possible.

Yes you can ask them but be repaired to pay for the extras money for doing that. But if that what you want then go for it. We only have this 1 day besides birthday's lol that all eyes on you. The queen for that whole day Congratulations on you both

Hi Lauren. Try to have the sequins hand sewn to be more secure, instead of glued on. It will cost considerably more, but you'll most likely hug guests and dance at your wedding.

Glued on sequins or rhinestones could work fine. you just might lose some but those should not be noticeable in general. also sequin trim may work with some dresses and may be easier to sew on than individual sequins. I think they would need to be added strategically to keep the labor cost down.
