Add event to wedding webpage visible to select guests

If you have your guest list for RSVP & you want to create a Rehearsal Dinner list. You can add those specific guest from your guest list to the Rehearsal Dinner guest list. However, they’d have to RSVP through the RSVP tab. There’s no way you could add the event to the event tab and they RSVP through there.


I hope this makes sense. For example, if Jane Doe is on the RSVP list for the wedding, you can add Jane Doe to the Rehearsal Dinner. Jane Doe can search her name on the RSVP tab & it’ll populate both events. Wedding & RD. Let me know if you need me to explain further because I wrote a lot.

I think it does make sense. So, this is a pre-wedding celebration for a select group. I have created a group within my guest list. You are saying that I would add an event on my guest list page rather than and event on our public wedding webpage? I would then create a list and it will populate for each of those specific guests and be visible to them only when they RSVP for the wedding? If this is accurate, I couldn't add details of the event...I would have to send them something perhaps via email or hardcopy?

View Quoted Comment Yes, that is correct. Only because, if you add it as an event on the wedding website, everyone would be able to see it. However, if you already have 20 people for the pre-wedding celebration, they can RSVP on the RSVP tab for both the wedding and the pre-wedding celebration. But you’d have to send them something separately inviting them to the pre celebration and informing them on how to RSVP.
