Accepting our dream venue doesn't exist

I wish! I've seen so many beautiful backyard weddings but unfortunately no one has one that can accommodate our amount of people and we just don't have anywhere else to trim the amount.

While not ideal, you might have to be willing to compromise. I personally liked that our venue came with in-house catering because it was one less vendor I had to worry about coordinating. Since it was an in-house caterer there was no worry about have they ever worked at this space before or are there things they need to learn about the space before being able to do their job. I give this as an example because our photographer had to walk the venue when they first arrived because it was there first time their and they wanted to ensure they knew the space and found good locations for photos.
