Yes!! A coworker of mine did this theme a few years ago. She had a robot R2D2 as the ring bearer and it was so cool.

Definitely! I will warn you that if you try to print anything at stores they might not let you because of copyright. I was maid of honor in my brother's wedding and his wife's bridal shower was Disney themed and Staples wouldn't let me print the bingo cards I made because they had Disney characters on them. I've included some ideas, but I wouldn't go overboard as it could end of looking tacky/childish. I'm all for subtle hints of a theme rather than full on out.
