a third wedding dress?

Ok y’all, tell me I’m crazy so I can stop thinking about it and move on! When I went dress shopping I took the family (sister who is my MOH, mom, FMIL, and step FMIL) it was a great day and I picked a pretty dress. I woke up the next morning in tears, overwhelmed, looking at Pinterest dresses thinking I jumped the gun and just bought something under pressure. Mom and I went again alone and I picked a different dress. Beautiful, different from the first one. I still didn’t have the “AH HAH!” moment, but I felt beautiful and elegant. I bought that dress and cancelled the first order. Now here I am, months later, thinking about my dress and wondering if there are any changes I can make to it to fall in love with it. It’s flowy and not poofy, I keep thinking about a tulle skirt, wanting to float like a princess. Then I look at pictures of my dress the day I bought it and remember how I felt in it. I don’t look at other dresses online or in stores. I just see friends/family with these gorgeous dresses and seem to think mine isn’t as elegant and grand as my wedding dress should be? I know that sounds crazy, but I can’t help but think “what if..” And I can’t help but think “well I’m throwing this big party and it’s my one day, I want to look like a rockstar!” I’ve tried my dress on at home, and even though it’s isnt altered to fit perfect yet I just don’t love it when I see it in my closet. Maybe I need to wait to try it on in store again when alterations come? Has anyone else had feelings like this? Attached a pic of the dress.

If you are really unhappy, you can always sell it on one of those used dress sites. Or Facebook has wedding dress swaps. That's how one of my bridesmaids found her dress for her wedding. Just be ready to part with it at a discounted price.

I think most people feel like this while they're waiting for the dress to come in. Wait until you can try it on, in your size. You might remember why you loved it in the first place.

I think your dress is beautiful, but I can see how it doesn't give you the bridal feeling. If you don't love it, don't settle. You'll only getting married once, you have to be in love with your dress!

I'd maybe try putting a slip underneath to give it more poof, or maybe get a seperate ballgown skirt to go on top, so if you remove the skirt, it's like 2 dresses in 1! Either way, that's a goregous dress.
