$6500 venue price difference worth it ?

Hello,
I'm stuck between 2 venues for my 2022 wedding.
One is $6500 for the same date and I want to know if it's with the extra money.Option 1 is the Surf Club on the Sound in New Rochelle and Option 2 is the Rockleigh Country Club in New Jersey. The Rockleigh is the more expensive option.I like the garden spaces, ample lobby and high Ceilings. I like the ballroom there more than the ballroom at the Surf Club. However, the views at the water Surf Club are magnificent and breathtaking. It is also much closer to my family and friends. I've read positive reviews about both but would like to know if you ladies think the extra money is justified. Thanks

Some things to consider...Is the wedding at night? If so, you probably aren't going to see the water views. What about pictures? Are there spaces at both that you can take great pictures? What about hotels, are they close to each for out of town guests? Does each have a space to get ready or just go after you are married before you are introduced as Mr. & Mrs. to be alone and quiet? Are you having ceremony and reception at the same place? Sometimes, venues will work with your budget, have you tried to see if the one you like better will budge in price? What does it do to the overall budget if you spend $6500 more? Does one space need less decorations than the other so you could save in that area?
Just some things to think about when looking at these venues.

How do you feel about asking your guests to drive a long way?
What are the menu differences?
Are you getting more for your money?
How would the extra money affect your budget? Would you have to give up things to pay more?
How would the locations affect your timelines and where you would be the night before/after?

What is the price of the cheaper venue? Is it enough to truly make a difference in your budget? Also, which venue do you get more with and/or which has better amenities?

Hi Amy! The previous posters have raised some really great questions!!
I would definitely go through both packages with a fine tooth comb to compare them and see what you're getting for each price, and what items are not covered (think through chairs and linens, silverware, china, glasses, etc.)
Have you toured either venue?
