6 months til my wedding kinda freaking out

My wedding is September 26th and I have been having days where I think everything will be fine and days where I think everything will not - but I've just been really emotional lately haha. What my FH and I did was send out emails to all of our vendors to ask what we should do and they all pretty much said they think it will be fine by then and not to make any changes until late summer if we have to. I'm still chugging along with planning.. we are pretty much done, I'm just working on the decor at this point.

I don't think we will be on lockdown at that point. I really do think we will have the wedding that we've planned on that day. I think that some older guests may not show because they are still afraid, but we don't have a ton of older people coming anyway.

I agree with PP. My wedding is September 12th. I am still planning as normal. I think the hardest part for me is that my wedding coordinator was laid off by the hotel that we are having the wedding at so I'm not sure who to communicate with if I have questions. Honestly I don't think the country/ economy can survive if we are in lockdown that long. They have to start letting us go to some places. I realize the process may be slow but I think by July things will be relatively normal again.

I don't think we'll still be in lockdown. I'm sure there will be some restrictions though which makes me worry. I spoke with my vendors and all are ok with moving date if need be. We may just because of lost planning time not because of the virus itself.

Hi Dessye!! It seems to early to panic for September & October weddings right now. The forecasts and and public guidelines keep changing quickly, so I'd recommend continuing to monitor the situation for a few months!

You are not alone!! I actually just put up a post today about this very thing. I am scheduled to get married on Sept 26th and I have been going through the motions myself. Some days I'm totally okay and other days I'm overcome with anxiety. I think the best thing to do is to take each day as it comes and continue planning to the best of our ability and then reassess in the summer. Hopefully all of us fall brides will be able to have our weddings!
