I think someone else said it on this discussion ~ I think it is a great Idea to order a half size bigger so that you can put a Gelling pad in the sole of the shoe to help you keep them on longer. I'm a Huge heel person and can go a long time in them. Platforms definitely help your arches and the balls of your feet from getting tired. But those little gel pad help even more.

I wore 5 1/2 inch heels on my wedding day : ) The only time they hurt me was after I took them off that night, then I soaked in the hot tub with my husband and felt great!!

Mine were 5 1/4 [: I'm a foot shorter than DH so I had to make up some of the difference - it's a good thing I LOVE HEELS [: here were my rehearsal day heels [: they were a little big but other than that, DH did a good job picking them out [;
