Maybe you can use the same colors for your wedding colors? Like navy and a dark red instead

My theme is Red White and I Do BBQ! Its hard to add subtle patriotism. I made a patriotic cake topper for my wedding. Our colors are red white and royal blue. You could add a few red elements in if you wanted. You could do american themed food such as BBQ. You could serve a blue signature drink called freedom juice or patriot punch?

Just because you are getting married on one of the best holidays of the year doesn't mean you HAVE to include it in your wedding if you don't want to. It is your wedding!
