49 Days to Go!

Anyone else feeling overwhelmed?

I have the BEST wedding planner, truly, she’s amazing. But the lack of help from my family is stressing me out and kind of making me sad. I’m paying for everything on my own and although it is what it is, I can’t help but feel alone and upset.

I am just looking for kind words 😭❤️

Outside of what you, your FS, and your wedding planner are already planning, what help do you need from your family?

I can relate. My mom didn’t go to choose my dress and didn’t care to know what it looked like. Thankfully my dad is a good sport about it and will listen to the details my mom should be interested in and my FH is amazing and sits up with me talking about decorations and other things I know he couldn’t care less about. Lol. It’s just a little sad to think of others and how much a part of their wedding their families have. Just think of how great it will feel on your wedding day to know YOU did that!! AND you’re married now!! It’s just around the corner. Best wishes for your wedding day!

I’m sad to hear that, but I’m glad you at least have one parent available for you. It’s not even that I need the help financially, but that would obviously help tremendously, it’s the lack of caring or asking even. No “how’s blah blah going?” No check ups, no nothing. I can’t wait until my wedding day, honestly. Thinking about it is the only thing keeping a smile on my face! Best wishes for you and thank you for the kind words.

Wedding twin! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 How’s planning going? Man, we are in the HOME STRETCH! Just thankful that my church provided us with a free ceremony and reception area! I’m so blessed not have to worry about venues. I’m sorry to hear what you’re going through. Since our wedding is going to be fairly small and intimate (maybe 50 guests total, no kids invited) we decided not to have groomsmen or bridesmaids. Best decision of my life! Lol. Thank you for your kind words and best wishes to you! We’re almost there! 👰🏻🎉
