365 Days!!!!!

Congrats!!! Yes, for us it’s finally one year away. We will have had a 21 month engagement (he proposed 1/11/19). Very excited and I’m sure this year will pass as quickly as last year did!

Hey date twin!!! I have the majority of everything done but the cake, attire for the men, rehearsal dinner, MUA, and china rentals. That sounds like a ton, but we have a year. lol I'm far too excited to still have 365 days left. What are your groomsmen planning on wearing? I've been trying to find a reasonable rental service.

Congrats to you as well. Seriously FINALLY! We had a 26 month engagement (he proposed 8/6/18). It seems long but it really wasn't lol. I know it will!!

Hey date twin!!!! I think I want the guys to wear tuxes including my FH. I think it's classy and that's what we're going for. He hasn't even asked them yet lol. It's just his brothers and my brother he has to ask so they basically already know. I'm just so excited. I said I have like butterflies !! Did your bridesmaids pick their dresses yet?

View Quoted Comment I agree. The time flew by. Since we’re having a destination wedding in Vegas, nearly everything has to go through the hotel (which I’m happy about). So the only things that FH and I have to select are the DJ, cocktail hour entertainment, invitations, my hair and makeup artists. The decor items and details have already been decided upon. We’re not doing a whole lot of decorating because the venue doesn’t need it, and we also don’t want to transport a bunch of stuff. We know the save the dates we’re sending and I’m going to order them today.

That will look so good!!! I totally get the butterfly feelingXD My wedding colors are super neutral so I told them to pick a dress from Davids Bridal that is long, chiffon, and the color Biscotti. Nobody will have the same dress. 5 out of 7 have already sent me photos of their choice I didn't want to do the same cut because everyone has VERY different body types in my bridal party (shortest is 4'10" and tallest is 5'10") and we can't all go together (two live on a different continent). I wasn't dealing with the headache of finding one dress to look great on everyone.

We have already booked our venue(s), DJ, photographer, baker, officiant, and have already picked out bridesmaid dresses. I have started dress shopping for myself but no luck so far. Have an appointment next week to check out some attire for the guys.

365 days to go!

10/10/2020 here! We are actually having to find A WHOLE NEW VENUE because ours backed out just days before we were supposed to sign the contract! 😭 But the majority of everything else is taken care of! I can’t wait!

Finally! So exciting!

We have a lot of the big things done: venue (which includes, catering, bar, cake, photography, officiant & DJ). We have a hair & make-up artist, florist, hotel room blocks, general idea of men's attire, favors, decor. I go dress shopping next month. Hoping this year goes quick!

YAY ME TOO! We've been engaged since 6/7/18 and today is actually our 10 year anniversary! Time has FLOWN by. My next thing to work on is a florist. Then it's mostly finalizing things like the menu, desserts, bridal party attire, and planning parties like the shower and bachelorette! I feel like since I'm down to 1 year I can finally be super excited and won't have people saying "gosh why is it so far away?!"

10/10/20 was my original date for us to have our wedding!! My future mother in laws Birthday lands on that day so we had to change it :/ We really wanted that date.. Now its 10/25/20

YAYAYYYYY!!!!! I'm so excited! I totally forgot that today was the one year marker- until my fiance bust into the bathroom as I was getting ready this morning and shouted HAPPY ONE YEAR! I feel like I have a lot accomplished but still so much to do. So far we have venue, photo, video, DJ, church, cake, flowers, hotel blocks, HMUA, string quartet, bar, shuttles, limo, food, and my dress! We have bridesmaids dresses, guys attire, dance lessons, and I'm sure so much more to plan.

Hello to all my fellow date twins!

We also have a longer engagement (he proposed 8/19/18). I feel pretty accomplished -- we've got all the big stuff booked.

For the cake, I won't reach out to our bakery until January.

In the meantime, I've got our engagement shoot coming up November 1st.

I'll also be (finally) doing my bridesmaid proposals this month -- though most already know who they are.

Can't wait!

I can't believe it's a year from today! By this time next year, I'll be married for almost 4 hours! We still have a lot to get done, just have the venue, my dress, and the officiant. I went with my maid of honor and one of the bridesmaids to David's to try on dresses. My other bridesmaid lives 2500 miles away, so if we order through David's the colors will match. I want to have the major stuff done by the end of this year. Happy pre-Anniversary!

How funny!!! What are their other store options?? I saw a pretty one that I really liked on Lulu's website but the "taupe" color was actually super purple... and I HATE purple.

10/10/2020 here too!!! SO EXCITED. Yesterday my FH and I celebrated our 0th Anniversary lol. We started with 17 months to go so I’m thrilled that we’re at the year mark now! We have most all of our vendors and everything booked! Now it’s just the little details

Yay!! We have most of the big stuff done. I'm working on my bouquet almost done too! We need to get the officiant and DOC. Our color are Burgundy, Navy, Blush/Rose Gold. And Mustard. I found a shop on Etsy for Bridesmaids dresses and my wedding dress, so I'm extremely excited. I am making my own centerpieces so I have been collecting stuff and watching a ton of YouTube videos.

There a few nice ones at the boutique I bought my dress from (Levkoff maybe??? in the color cashmere or cappuccino) I'm not too picky as to what they should wear- as long as they are happy and comfortable!!
