For daughter, making super detailed lists was extremely helpful in curbing her stress and anxiety. It was clear what still needed to be done -- and, as stuff got checked off, it made her feel SO much better. Also, her incredibly experienced DJ, whom she loved, helped a lot when he told her two weeks out would be crazy, but once she got to that last week she's find peace in an "I don't care anymore" attitude. Smiley winking He was completely correct. By the last week, she was totally at peace with things either taking care of themselves or not mattering any more! Good luck!

I agree with MOB So Cal. I started to feel a little stressed about 2-3 weeks before my wedding. I made a checklist of everything that needed to be done and also made a packing list. I contacted all of my vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and ready to go. We made a pile in our guest room of everything wedding related. Once I spoke to all of our vendors, had a timeline from our planner & DOC, photographer, & videographers, and checked everything off of my to-do list and packing list, I felt great! The week before was pretty stress free for me.

Freaking out is totally normal! As PPs said, keep those checklists handy and make sure to get plenty of rest and drink lots of water! The last thing you need is to be fatigued or dehydrated!

As all the PPs mentioned, checklists are a fantastic way of calming anxiety. Having everything in a clearly actionable list will take away that fear of forgetting something or having it constantly on your mind!

Have you created one of all your last-minute planning bits that need to be taken care of?
