25-30 GUEST WEDDING !! HELP w. my VENUE

NETH, on May 30, 2014 at 1:46 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

Hello !! : ) Please can someone help me. I'm from South Florida (Fort Lauderdale, Miami Area) i'm driving myself crazy since i have been in venue hunting mode from the very first moment i got engaged. At first i thought it was gonna be easier bc my fiance and i always new we wanted a small intimate wedding w. no more than 30 guest only family and really close friends. After seeing several venues and their cost we decided to host the reception in a restaurant. And It has been really difficult to find a restaurant that meet our wedding style since we still want the wedding to be ELEGANT & CHIC. We also consider ourself foodies so the food has always been one the most important things for us .. We where thinking for the ceremony to take place in Vizcaya Museum & Garden (we haven't decided yet) this place is the perfect scenario for our photos. So if we do end up doing the ceremony here our choice of restaurant has to be upscale w. yummy food and A service any RESTAURANT suggestions Smiley sad ?

I'm not sure you are going to be able to find an upscale restaurant that will be able to provide a private room for your wedding reception or not. I know there are places out there that do but you're still going to pay as much as if you went to a country club etc to have a reception. You're still looking at 110+ probably per person. Here is PA it's more than that even.

Drive around the area and see what you see. Maybe try yelp or open table to try and find some options and go try them out. Only you will know that you found the right restaurant when you see it. Good Luck!

We're going to Del Frisco's for our wedding reception. It's a very upscale restaurant in our area (they have others in other cities across the US). FH picked it because food was really important for us - and their food is great (lots of options). They create a separate menus that they can create and prices range from $78 PP and their most expensive is $110. Their largest room holds 75 people. We're only inviting 40 people (and have a private room with cake, decor, a band, etc.) --- our ceremony is outside in the courtyard/rose garden of a historic chapel. The the food and beverage minimum is $3,300.
