Our wedding is in June 2023 and we’ve chosen our wedding planner and booked our venue, caterer, and photographer so far. Currently working on our welcome party location and caterer.

I got engaged on October 16th and are getting married in August of 2022. We’ve already booked our venue, photographer, videographer and photo booth.
I suggest you start looking at venues right now. We already found some of the venues we liked were booked for the date in August we wanted and through the end of 2022.
This is the second marriage for both of us so we want to get stuff locked down by the end of this year so all we have to do is pay for everything from January to July.

We're getting married in August of 2022 and the only vendor I haven't booked is the florist, but I have a quote and sent a follow up email one what the booking process is.

I'm waiting on one more set of swatches to arrive before nailing down bridesmaid dress options. FH is getting his suit some time in January or February (but we're going to shoot for the Dillard's NYD sale first as he wants this to be a suit he can continue to wear but doesn't want to spend a fortune). We'll order vow books and the guest book from Etsy some time in the spring, and I think we'll shoot for Bachelor(ette) parties some time in May/June! My dress came in early, so I get to pick that up in the next few weeks!!

The hardest vendor for me to find was rentals, but we also went with venues that aren't traditional wedding venues for both our ceremony and reception which I think contributed to their availability. When we were planning a local wedding, all of the venues were booking up around our date and while we were touring two were booked for our date. So I'm glad you already have your venue!!

I'm with some of the others, nail down photographer and catering as soon as you absolutely can, as those will be the next of your vendors to be filling up. Also see what things you may need to rent that your venue might not supply and if it's big things work on finding a rental company next as well.

You're definitely on the right track, so keep going! Now that I have all my vendors booked I feel so much more relaxed! Pretty much all I have to do now is buy the cute fun things and have fun!

We're having a vow renewal in 2024 and I already have my dresses and have booked a venue as well but apart from that nothing else. Smiley smile

Do as much as you can now! Our vow renewal isn’t until the end of next year but I started planning in 2020. With so many couples pushing their celebrations back, things are filling up quickly. With the shipping slowing down, I started running into issues with getting things in a timely manner. Thankfully I still have plenty of time.

Im getting married in March 2023 and have had venue (catering, bar, and rental decorations included) and photographer booked for a month. I live in a relatively small city, so the competition isn't that high, but they were all definitely booked through fall 2022. I'll be booking DJ at the beginning of the year, starting to look for dresses next Spring/early summer. Bakery and hair and makeup can wait awhile since we're going a non-traditional route and doing cupcakes, and I'll be doing my own makeup anyway. Im also not doing real florals so no need to book a florist. Bridesmaid dresses through Azazie, suits through wherever my fiance chooses, but that can all wait until late Summer/early Fall of next year too.

I’ve just pushed back my wedding to 2023. The places and venues I’m interested in, (I want a beach house wedding) in my area aren’t booking yet. So I will have to wait until January 2022 at the earliest. I am doing all my research now and deciding which vendors fit my vision. I’ll keep checking for my dates to open up!

We are 100 days away today!

    So, everything is booked.

Big ticket items for us are:

venue, photographer, attire (dress or suit, shoes, underwear, jewellery), florist, cake, favours, hair, makeup, accommodation, cars/transport, band/dj, rings

Things we don't need or don't want but you might need are: a day-of coordinator or a planner, a caterer (our venue is a restaurant so all inclusive), a stylist,

Good luck - it's best to book people as far out as possible - you can always refine exactly what they will do closer to the time!
