My only resolution is to enjoy my wedding and not to stress over things I can’t control.

That is a very healthy, positive outlook. I think that’s a resolution every bride should make!

FH and I are both making the resolution to be more dedicated about saving money for the wedding (ie, there will no longer be Amazon packages being delivered every other day 😆)

I am also making the resolution to diligently follow a good skin care routine, in hopes of having smooth glowing skin for my wedding
And also to adopt more healthy eating and exercising regimens so that I can actually fit into both my dresses (ceremony dress is 1 size too small and after party dress is 2 sizes too small! 😱)

This is a great question! I'd say my resolution is to not take others' opinions to heart so much. I'm still in the early stages of planning but have quickly learned that weddings seem to bring out the worst in people. I tend to second-guess myself at the first sign of someone not liking some aspect of our plans, and end up feeling like the whole wedding is a waste of time and money. I'm going to work on focusing on the vision my FH and I have and trying not to let the negativity affect me!

Hahaha I’m the same way just make them wedding packages instead. I need an exercise regimen as well. My dress fits but I would like to have a little bit more wiggle room.

I definitely like my alone time and I fall into a habit of wanting to watch what I want and leave the hubby in the living room to watch his stuff so I am starting this year working on spending time watching what he wants because he does ask to watch something together more than I do. When we go out we are all about each other it is just due to different tv preferences.

Love this resolution!! Unfortunately, you are right, weddings can bring up a lot of opinions and negativity. Stick to your guns on you & FH’s vision for your day- you’ll be so glad you did!!

Haha! That’s a much more fun way to look at it LOL And I WISH a little more wiggle room was all I needed in my dress! My after party dress has about an 8” gap where it won’t zip! 😱😫 I’m in trouble LOL

Oh girl, I feel you on this. FH & my tv habits couldn’t be more different- he loves documentaries, and I love the Real Housewives of everywhere! 😆

He has a few funny podcasts I will watch but he is more into political podcasts and I love to decompress while at home for all the negativity of the world and I started learning in Korean and love k pop so I want to watch comedies and Korean TV lol.

My fiance and I are making the resolution to work on being more careful with how we spend money and trying to save more, so Amazon won't be making frequent deliveries to our house anymore either. 😂 We're also planning to both be more intentional about eating healthier and exercising more - since our sports leagues are on hold due to the pandemic, we spend a lot of time watching Netflix instead of finding ways to be active and healthier, so we're planning to get off the couch and either do workout videos, or get outside for a hike or run (if the weather is nice).

My New Year's resolution is to be able to find a viable new career or a new job that pays well right after my fh and I get married. I currently work in fast food, and while it has been a blessing in this current pandemic-like climate, it definitely isn't something I exactly strive for in the long run. Honestly, I just would love a new job that can make ends meet and pays more than my current fast food job does.

Heard that! I will definitely be on the prowl for a new job this coming year as well. My fiancé insisted I quit my job back in April when COVID-19 really started spreading (I am high risk due to a lung injury), so I have been unemployed for the past 8 months. With a vaccine on the horizon, I am hopeful it will be safe to return to the workforce! Gotta say, I am going nuts being home and not working, and saving for the wedding has been incredibly difficult since then.
