If I know one thing about **** brides is that we have been through SO much! This forum has brought us together to share our stresses and grievances during COVID. Today, I want to change it up and share something a little different, HOPE. Today I woke up feeling so hopeful for the near future. Knowing that some of my original COVID stresses are now easing. Vaccines are rolling out at record pace, people seem to be happier, and I truly believe the light is at the end of the tunnel. I hope that all of the brides stressing right now can find this light, I think we are almost there ladies! No matter if your wedding is an intimate elopement, a micro wedding, or a large gathering later on in the year, I’m wishing you the very best and a happy and healthy 2021.

Received my vaccine last week and some of the older members of my family have theirs as well. I'm being optimistic that things will get gradually better within the year. Thanks for this positive post

Yay! My fiancé and I are getting our second dose next week and our immediate family and close friends (nursing teaching) are all vaccinated! We are expecting around 80-90% vaccinated. Cheers to you and your family! Wishing you the best day ever

That’s amazing! My mom got her second dose yesterday and it literally felt like a year of stress was lifted off of my shoulders. My fiancé and I get our second dose next week. Here’s to 2021 and beyond! Have an amazing wedding dat!

You’re so right and I love the positivity! I’m thankful that all of my immediate family are healthy and can’t begin to tell you how happy I am to know that so far 20 out of 25 guests at my wedding will be fully vaccinated! After an incredibly tough year we can dance, sing, hug and kiss!

Things are finally looking up! My state changed the qualifications to >30 BMI which means I will be getting my first vaccine dose on Monday! I was hoping for July at best! Now it’s just a matter of encouraging my stubborn Republican family members... even if they refuse, at least all of my guest who DO want to protect themselves will be able to. We’ll also be outdoors so anyone who wants to go above and beyond the vaccine can distance as much as they’d like

I hope that you have an amazing day! We are having an outdoor wedding and reception and we are so happy that we chose that route. Due to covid, it seems like the safest way to party this year! I wouldn’t worry too much about your family members. Just remember that it’s your day and whatever you want your family members to do (wear masks, social distance, etc) they should respect your wishes and follow through. Be upfront and insistent with your requests!
